Beat that Amazon, Yesasia, Play-Asia. Ordered my stuff on Thursday and sent on Friday, arrived on Saturday.
Ordered 16 volumes of Prince of Tennis, HL2, Cross Game 11-12 and Tsubasa 24.
I couldnt get Aria 12, HL 1 and Prince of Tennis 41 as they are out of stock. Darn...
Still got 4 more books, Tsubasa 22 & 23, Pastel 19 and Aria 12. I try my luck with Yesasia on Aria 12. Not looking good as the other 3 are in stock now and Aria 12 still searching for suppliers.
I could have order them a lot earlier but Bookcafe upgraded to Verified by Visa card only, my cards cant complete the purchase process. Absolutely no problem with other site like HLJ, Amazon, Yesasia and Play-asia. Stupid. So I got myself a new card but by that time Aria 12 is out of stock.
Anyway, hope Yesasia can find one for me...

Long Intro Short Series
For those who read Hatsukoi Limited by Mizuki Kawashita, yes, chapter 32 is the finale!
It takes about 10 chapters to get things started and then you mess the series with a bomberman during the Valentine's Day. Then the guys went on a trip and confess and then next chapter is Ending?
So 32 chapter and 3 volume.... that's all after the comeback from Ichigo 100%????
So all those love chains and dozens of characters ... and last only 32 chapters????
(Why bother introducing new character every 2-3 weeks???)
Thankfully I wasn't anticipating or expecting anything great from this series.... else I'll end up with frustration.

Hatsukoi Limited 7: A chapter on Bessho and his sister Koyoi who has a serious brotherly fancy. She checked on Bessho who met out with Yamamoto but was relieved to learn nothing between them.
Tsubasa 172: Kendappa told Tomoyo to set a barrier so that Syaron could duel against Seishiro. Yui realized that Tomoyo had paid the price so that they would appear in Nihon after Celes.
Tennis 365: Golden pair's up for the double match. Momo thought of a way to revive Ryouma's memory.
Cross Game 103: After paying respect to Wakaba, Koh encountered the Wakaba look-alike girl in yukata.
Air Gear 184: Finally the match's over. What a waste of chapters!

4. I've placed an order with bookcafe for 27 mangas comprising; Cross Game 9, Suzuka 16 & 17, Pastel 17, Conan SP 10+ & 20+, Ichigo 100% 17 and Tsubasa Chronicles 1-20. I had to use a visa card since I couldn't get through the transaction with both mastercards.

Random Thoughts
Sorry for being away for so long, that's if you're still visiting the blog. :P I'm currently busy with assignment marking.
I have lost hope for my ARIA Solidwork collection, most likely MIA. I think I'll choose EMS next time for shipping my figures. My ARIA Alicia 1/8 figure and Suzuka guidebook have been shipped separately. Hope they will arrive safely.
Update: I really think it was divine intervention (secret). Just reached home and I received a post notice to collect a parcel. Is it the MIA parcel??? It's been 51 days .. could be... but I have another parcel sent 17 days ago. Could it be the second parcel from HLJ? The worst would be the replacement CD case from Yesasia, but that can be slipped into my mail box rather than require collection. Anyway, I'll find out tomorrow morning. Hope it's ARIA Solidwork collection!!!!!
Update2: It's not ARIA Solidwork collection. It's the 2nd order from HLJ, Alicia Florence 1/8 Goodsmile figure!!!!!!!! Am I suppose to be happy or sad???

Tennis 362: Fuji against Tezuka imitation, will the well-known Genius be able to beat "Tezuka". Match score 5-4(Fuji).
Cross Game 101: A new noodle house under construction beside Koh's house and a new girl who looked like Wakaba appeared.

ARIA V11 cover page features our new Orange Princess. V11 comprises chapter 51 to chapter 55. Chapter 55 is the chapter where Alice graduated from school and was promoted to Prima.
P/S: I'm glad that my 1/8 Goodsmile Alicia figure has been shipped. The figure is now on discontinued status in HLJ. Lucky I pre-ordered it the moment it was available for pre-order. Hope the AIA solidworks gashapon will arrive this week.

Random Thoughts
Returned from my Malaysia trip. I'm working on a summary of Suzuka manga before the Suzuka aftermath post. ARIA Arietta summary post on hold. At the moment I have not pick up any anime from the new season.
Mood: Happy

ARIA 57: Akira was worried that Aika would be depressed because of Alice's achievement. But Aika actually got motivated and Akira was relieved.
Hatsukoi Limited 2: A bit disappointed in Kawashita new work. This week's about Mamoru Zaizu and his neighbour Misaki Yamamoto.
Tsubasa 168: Encounter of Watanuki and Syaoran in dream. We learnt from Syaoran that Syaoran and Watanuki are very closely related. In addition, Princess Tomoyo actually paid a price in advance as well.
Cross Game 99: Did Koh manage to catch the ball?
Anime:
Gundam 00 1: Yeah, new Gundam series. Gundam mecha look nice and characters look decent. Got a bit attracted by a female character, Wang Liu Mei. :P Anyway, Exia is cool when battling with the AEU MS.
Clannad 1: Not yet watch...
Kimikiss Pure Rouge 1: Like the first episode. The characters and the animation are good. Kouichi met his childhood onee-san, Mao who came back from France. His good friend, Kazuki got kissed by Eriko for giving back her paper plane? Recommended for those who enjoyed Tokimeki Memorial.
Purchase:
1. My Alicia 1/8 Goodsmile PVC is now on shipping list. Hope the ARIA solidworks collection will reach my doorstep soon.
2. My brother and I went to the new One Utama on Saturday and I came out with these.
I bought 4 DVD sets. These are original but produced/printed in Malaysia. The quality is good but there are no cover pages for the DVD case. In addition, they used minimal disc without negleting the quality. One thing I liked about asian versions is that they usually have both CH and EN subtitles. Total RM 629.90 or AUD $209.
A gift I bought for my girlfriend. It's a disney Mickey mouse nohohon figure or commonly known as Hidamari no Tami. HLJ had it in 2004. My brother and I each got one which cost RM45 each. A pity that there's no Minnie, otherwise both can be used to hold a deck of cards.

I'll be leaving for Malaysia tomorrow morning 12.55am but I have to arrive at the airport at around 10pm tonight. I do have internet connection back in Malaysia but since Suzuka has finished, it's not going to make much difference. There's a Suzuka aftermath post which I'm still compiling and also an ARIA Arietta summary post coming up.

Suzuka 165: Dialogue between Suzuka and Yamato. Suzuka and Yamato lived as a couple. Yamato proposed to Suzuka with his lame style. Yamato brought her to their school gym and reminisced their past. Chapter ended with Suzuka and Yamato determined to be a happy couple with their child. Next week Suzuka finale!! There'll be colour pages!
Air Gear 177: Battle against Sirius continued. Ikki got the first point. Come on, move on!
Cross Game 96: That's it Adachi, we want action. And we got it. Koh against Mishima. Two good ones and a bad one. Mishima hit the fourth one and Koh captured it instantly. Cool!
Prince of Tennis 358: Akaya entered demon stance and aimed at Inui. Inui collapsed. Looks like Seishun lost the 2nd match as well.
Tsubasa 166: Shaoran lost his freedom, Sakura lost her memory, Yuu lost his eyes and now Kurogane lost his arm (whole arm!) in order to save Yuu. Curse you, Fei Wong Reed.

Zero no Tsukaima II 10 : Not really interesting. Encouter with an army of Albion and clash in Louise & Saito's idealogy.
Moetan 10: Ah kun, ka kun, Na kun, Sumi and Ink went to save Alice. Alice restored to her adult form and was held captive. The enemy was evil Alice. The reason why Alice hated Ah Kun was because Ah kun loved loli and he got carried away during their date and said that she has over-sized breast. Dandy turned out to be the King of magical kingdom. Ah Kun returned to his ownself and attacked the evil Alice but she turned into a huge beast. Ink and Sumi combined their powers and turned Ah Kun into a giant duck. Super size Ah Kun defeated the enemy. A sentimental moment for Alice embracing Ah kun. However, Ah Kun saw Na Kun true self and got carried away. It looks like the final episode but it's not.

Placed a pre-order for 3 clear action base. I'm not pleased with the MG Strike Freedom stand and have wanted to get a white action base but it was on backordered. I like the clear base and have pre-ordered for my 3 MGs. I spent a big purchase this week. AUD$599 can buy you around 10 figures (1/8) or 10 MG Gundams or 15 OSTs or 25 DVDs or 120 mangas. And I spent it on a set of suit(with two trousers). My sister's wedding coming up, that's why.

Rather happy this week in personal life as well as in anime & manga, not mentioning work load of course. Haven't been writing random thoughts for several weeks.
Manga:
Suzuka 164: I like chapter 164 very much. As I have mentioned in the post, I think the way to conclude Suzuka with current scenario is acceptable and pleasing to the fans. Since Yamato and Suzuka cannot afford a wedding so maybe we'll see a chapter of Yamato working and the birth of the baby as finale. 2 more chapters till finale!
Air Gear 176: Don't know what's going to happen to Kururu after meeting the cunning Hako. Kogarasumaru having a duel with the "kamen rider" gang, with Kogarasumaru losing 0-10. Kanon's helping the opposition team.
Cross Game 94: The opposition team got a home run and now tie with Seishu High School.
Prince of Tennis 357: I must really commend Takeshi for making such a twist on Kaidou. After being beaten 0-4, Kaidou returned with an invincible move. And he shot a ball straight onto Akaya's face. What a great feeling!
Tsubasa 165: Finally, Ashura's finished. Last 2 chapters were great as Yui and Kurogane fought Ashura. Fai disintegrated after giving the feather back to Sakura body. The second curse will not be activated if Yui killed Ashura but it was Kurogane who killed Ashura. Syaoran told everyone to leave Celes quickly. After so many chapters (11) we're still clueless on the second curse. Gee....
AMG 228: Previously, everyone (Keiichi, Belldandy, Skuld, Urd and Megumi) lost their memory due to the overload of Skuld device. Welsper was wondering what happended to the house and inactive banpei kun. He/it realized that the rest of the people had amnesia and decided to have fun. He/it tricked that Urd and Keiichi are lovers. Skuld is his/its maid and Belldandy is his fiance. Welsper then want Belldandy to addres him a beloved one. However, Belldandy replied that she can't.
ARIA 56:Akira talked with a puppetmaster who has two puppet. One was white with a cheerful smile while the other one's black with sorrow. I hope next week we'll see the story after Alice became a Prima and how does that affect Aika and Akari.
Anime:
Romeo x Juliet 21: I haven't been watching RxJ since EP 18. Will catch up to it. RxJ has been switched to Tuesdays air slot. Cornelia and Benvolio married. Romeo was determined to act against his father. Juliet has the seed of Escalus has been planted inside her and she hasn't told Romeo about it.
Zero no Tsukaima II 9 : Colbert was the Flame Serpent as expected. I didn't expect him to die though. Menville was killed by Agnes and she tried to avenge on Colbert but he died before she could act. Saito received a letter from Colbert and he cried. Louise hugged him and cried as well. Finally, one episode that ended with Loiuse and Saito without an explosion.
ARIA OVA~Arietta: It's nice to see that ARIA OVA was aired before the DVD release. The background setting and the animation are both excellent and impressive. However, as I pointed out to Adun, they changed the eyes slightly and in some far-away shot, the character face was slightly of concern. Nevertheless, close-up shots are still near perfect. I like the story plot since it focuses a lot of Alicia (my favourite).

Placed an order for ARIA Desktop calendar at HLJ. But I do have another plan in mind. I'm thinking of an order at AJ with 2 CDs, ARIA desktop and Suzuka guidebook (coming soon). ARIA Solid Collection has been shipped. Received my brother's SD Stargazer this morning, very nice.
Rather happy this week in personal life as well as in anime & manga, not mentioning work load of course. Haven't been writing random thoughts for several weeks.
Manga:
Suzuka 164: I like chapter 164 very much. As I have mentioned in the post, I think the way to conclude Suzuka with current scenario is acceptable and pleasing to the fans. Since Yamato and Suzuka cannot afford a wedding so maybe we'll see a chapter of Yamato working and the birth of the baby as finale. 2 more chapters till finale!
Air Gear 176: Don't know what's going to happen to Kururu after meeting the cunning Hako. Kogarasumaru having a duel with the "kamen rider" gang, with Kogarasumaru losing 0-10. Kanon's helping the opposition team.
Cross Game 94: The opposition team got a home run and now tie with Seishu High School.
Prince of Tennis 357: I must really commend Takeshi for making such a twist on Kaidou. After being beaten 0-4, Kaidou returned with an invincible move. And he shot a ball straight onto Akaya's face. What a great feeling!
Tsubasa 165: Finally, Ashura's finished. Last 2 chapters were great as Yui and Kurogane fought Ashura. Fai disintegrated after giving the feather back to Sakura body. The second curse will not be activated if Yui killed Ashura but it was Kurogane who killed Ashura. Syaoran told everyone to leave Celes quickly. After so many chapters (11) we're still clueless on the second curse. Gee....
AMG 228: Previously, everyone (Keiichi, Belldandy, Skuld, Urd and Megumi) lost their memory due to the overload of Skuld device. Welsper was wondering what happended to the house and inactive banpei kun. He/it realized that the rest of the people had amnesia and decided to have fun. He/it tricked that Urd and Keiichi are lovers. Skuld is his/its maid and Belldandy is his fiance. Welsper then want Belldandy to addres him a beloved one. However, Belldandy replied that she can't.
ARIA 56:Akira talked with a puppetmaster who has two puppet. One was white with a cheerful smile while the other one's black with sorrow. I hope next week we'll see the story after Alice became a Prima and how does that affect Aika and Akari.
Anime:
Romeo x Juliet 21: I haven't been watching RxJ since EP 18. Will catch up to it. RxJ has been switched to Tuesdays air slot. Cornelia and Benvolio married. Romeo was determined to act against his father. Juliet has the seed of Escalus has been planted inside her and she hasn't told Romeo about it.

ARIA Navigation Guide
The guide is not new but I decided to write a post about this wonderful book. really glad that Tong Li released the CH version of the guide. The guide was based on ARIA manga, not the anime.
As usual the book cover has the 4 corner story and ended with Maa sachou profile. The slip cover quality are not as good as the normal ARIA manga but acceptable.
The book started with 13 pages of colour pages. The first page depicted the prologue. The next 8 pages showed the venue and scene of Italy that were potrayed in ARIA. 3 pages were then dedicated to illustrate the steps in colouring an illustration of ARIA using photoshop.
The book was then divided into 4 main sections; World Nagivation, Episode Navigation, Expansion Navigation and Making Navigation.
World Navigation
The World Navigation section started from page 15 to page 86.
P17-19: Explored AQUA with details on time, weather, trasnport and culture.
P20-23: AQUA events in spring, summer, autumn and winter.
P24: Information on the Undine

Received Order
I was surprised to receive two parcels this morning. I would expect ARIA 10 since my friend's mum sent it from HK via air mail last Thursday. However, I was surprised to see a larger parcel from Yesasia. Yes, you heard it right, my Yesasia order has arrived. The order was shipped on 3rd August and it only took 10 days to arrive. From experience, Yesasia order usually takes 2-3 weeks.
So, the items I have just received were ARIA V10, Suzuka V15, Pastel V16, Cross Game 7 & 8, Romeo x Juliet OP and ARIA Navigation Guide. I'll write a post on ARIA Navigation Guide. Really glad that Tong Li decided to pick up the book and release the CH version.
I discovered a secret in the leaflet that came with Romeo x Juliet OP. The illustration of Romeo x Juliet was actually a sticker!
Update: Just reach home and realized that my Romeo x Juliet OP CD case was shattered. In the past Yesasia used parcel box, this time they just place the CD in between the books and wrapped in plastic. I just sent a complain email this morning and looks like another coming up. Bloody Yesasia. Just when the fast delivery overcome the failure of acquiring ARIA 10, you have another reason for me to shift my patronage.
The items I mentioned above are available at Yesasia (except ARIA 10) and Bookcafe.
P/S: I'm a bit frustrated that Suzuka CH V16 came out a few days ago. It's a good news but I would need to wait for a few more manga before I place an order.

Random Thoughts
Mood: Angry & Frustrated
Manga:
Suzuka 160: A good chapter on Suzuka meeting Yamato's parents as potential daugther-in-law. We also learnt that Ayano-san eloped with her husband when she was young. Next chapter should be very interesting with Yamato meeting Suzuka's family and the caption said "Tears".
Tsubasa 162: No idea why the cover featured Kyle Rondart and Xing Huo. Another darn reminiscing chapter with bit more action.
Air Gear 173: Nothing special part from a possible AT fight coming up in next chapter between Kogarasumaru and the "kamen rider" gang.
Cross Game 91: Baseball, what else???
Anime:
Romeo x Juliet 18 : Romeo establishing a town, Willie (William) casting a play and Aw... the reunion scene.. Isn't it wonderful? Start to like the white Iris more and more.
Moetan 4: I like the new character Alice Shiratori. She's my favourite character now because she got the attitude. I like to watch Sumi Kuroi only for her strand of hair that changes according to emotion.
Zero no Tsukaima II 4 : Hurray Louise's sisters. An enjoyable and funny episode. But to have Eleanor fantasizing on a guy like Count of Burgundy degrade my impression on her. I like Cattleya but find her average, anyway she's sick, you'll have to forgive her.
Purchase:
Bloody Yesasia. They haven't even sold any ARIA CH 10 and now they tell me it's temporarily not available. I even recommend a supplier to them and they ignore it. Last year's service was a lot better, the agent contacted the supplier and acquired the item for me. I was about to cancel the whole order but since I have a CD in it, I'll forget about it this time. I'm going to try the bookcafe and test its service. If I found availability at bookcafe, Yesasia's team and CEO gonna receive a trashing email from me.

Random Thoughts

Suzuka 159: I like the chapter which is full of dialoues. Both Suzuka and Yamato had the same wavelength regarding the pregnancy matter.
Tsubasa 161: Another darn chapter on Yui history after being freed by Ashura. The covers feature watanuki and syoran so I'm convince that watanuki played an important role in Tsubasa Chronicle. But why not feature it in the past, apart from cover, there's no Watanuki anymore in the chapter. Oh, Ashura is the bad guy after all. To CLAMP again, just reveal the 2nd curse already. By the way, heard that Tsubasa's having 3 weeks break after chapter 162.
Cross Game 90: Baseball competition, Azuma Yuhei as baseman and Ko Kitamura as pitcher. Nothing interesting except Aoba cheering for Ko.
Anime:
Romeo x Juliet 17 : Animation's better this week. A lot more interesting development. Tybalt’s father was Montague and his mother was a Capulet, making him Romeo’s half brother. Titus wanted Mercutio to be Montague son and ended up killed by Montague. Wow... messy! But who's this Ophelia??? And what's the Escalus about?? Anyway, the mess sparks my interest again.
Moetan 3: Have not watch yet.
Zero no Tsukaima II 3 : Episode 3 was quite amusing but I'm anticipating EP4 because Louise's sisters would appear in EP4. And Louise eldest sister turned out to be a worse maniac. EP 3 itself is fine, instead of disappearing all the male, they introduce a male, Julio to keep Saito away from harem.

Order at Yesasia took a lot longer than I expected. ARIA 10 and the ARIA Navigation file is not ready yet. So slow....

Promising CH Store: Bookcafe
Came across a new online site offering CH version of JP manga. It's called Bookcafe. I think I'll patron the HK based shop from now on since Yesasia is no longer attractive for manga purchase.
I did a simple spreadsheet calculation. It showed that I need to buy at least 3 books to be cost-effective at Bookcafe. That's fine with me since I usually purchase at least 4 in an order: ARIA, Suzuka, Cross Game and Pastel.
Did a simple calculation even if I send to HK and then to Australia, Bookcafe will still be more attractive since Yesasia also charges local book shipping nowadays.
Examples:
For 4 manga, each 150gram: Yesasia AUD $39.40 & Bookcafe AUD $38.52, given Yesasia unit cost is US $4.99, Bookcafe unit cost is HK28 and shipped to Australia.
For 10 manga, each 200gram: Yesasia AUD $75.72 & Bookcafe AUD $55.54, given Yesasia unit cost is US $5.99, Bookcafe unit cost is HK33 and shipped to Hongkong.
I had previously emailed a feedback to Yesasia regarding the change to Free-shipping eligibility once and they replied it's more cost-effective which is definitely a lie. I had to pay a lot more for each manga compared to the past. So, to Yesasia, sorry that I'll move my manga patronage to Bookcafe in near future.

Random Thoughts

Suzuka 158: A chapter dedicated to Yamato's decision but yet to know how Suzuka will react.
Tsubasa 160: Another darn chapter on Yui history after being freed by Ashura. Only 3 pages of recent and pretty much just Kurogane and Yui. I just hope next week's real action rather than delaying the plot again and again. To CLAMP, just reveal the 2nd curse already. By the way, heard that Tsubasa's having 3 weeks break after chapter 162.
Air Gear 171: Ha ha 171 is sure interesting! we all got fooled by Oh! Great. Oh! Great, you are really great. The person who kidnap Kururu was actually her father. Ikki got so mad and crush-landed on the vechicle and was about to punch Kururu's dad. At the end of the chapter Kururu brought her luggage and told Ikki that she ran away from home. She said she wanted to be together with ikki and the whole emotion got her over-heated. Then, tonnes of parts and utility dropped from her skirt and she worked her way to fix the ATs. Funny chapter. Not something that I want - action (we did get a few pages before the blunder). But it's something out of the blue, of which I should commend Oh! Great. So hope next week, proper AT actions.

Romeo x Juliet 16 : This week is bad, I meant the animation quality. Real bad compared to the previous 15 episodes.
Moetan 2: Another moe-tan character in making. Loli is too much for me.
Zero no Tsukaima II 2 : Episode 2 wasn't a good episode for me. There's no point of having a "resurrected" prince with the power of a ring. Unless, it has a strong connection to the story, it's a waste of episode.

Order at Yesasia took longer than I expected because the ARIA Navigation file is not ready yet. It's released in Taiwan but HK version might not be released until end of month. Sigh.

Suzuka 157: A bit surprised that Yamato confide his worries to Arima.
Tsubasa 159: After 5 dull chapters of dragging Fai and Yui history, we have not yet knowing what's the second curse. A month of worthless plot. At least, we come to the excitement, Kuro has his sword ready as he faces Fai, err.. Yui actually.
Air Gear 170: After several dull chapter, I was hoping to see some action but it's just Ikki and the Kogarasumaru gang practising. But Kururu was being kidnapped at the end of chapter. Beginning of an exciting arc, not really, I expect another relatively dull plot next week since Oh great like to prolong the plot.
Cross Game 88: Enough of the baseball game, add some other plots!

Romeo x Juliet 15 : Another week of mining adventure. There's development to Romeo so I won't whine on it.
Moetan : Pretty funny in my opinion. Decent animation as well. Only that I'm not ready for such loli scene even though she was potrayed as a short middle high school girl.
Zero no Tsukaima II : Excellent, at least there's something enjoyable this season. Enjoyed the first episode but I wonder if Kirche and Tabitha would have more plots to come. I wonder if the prince's still alive. I'm speculating that the whole incident in season I might be his idea. Anyway, episode 2 is just around the corner.

Romeo x Juliet 15 : Another week of mining adventure. There's development to Romeo so I won't whine on it.
Moetan : Pretty funny in my opinion. Decent animation as well. Only that I'm not ready for such loli scene even though she was potrayed as a short middle high school girl.
Zero no Tsukaima II : Excellent, at least there's something enjoyable this season. Enjoyed the first episode but I wonder if Kirche and Tabitha would have more plots to come. I wonder if the prince's still alive. I'm speculating that the whole incident in season I might be his idea. Anyway, episode 2 is just around the corner.

Tong Li Release
Yes, Tong Li have just released Suzuka 15, ARIA 10 and Pastel 16 CH manga. Hurray. I wasn't expecting ARIA 10 to be released so soon because the gaps between JP and CH release are usually 5 or 8 months. Maybe because ARIA manga is getting more popular nowadays. Popular manga such as Pastel and Suzuka CH are released usually 2 or 3 months after JP release. For even more popular manga such as Adachi Mitsuru's Cross Game, Jonesky release the CH version 1 or 2 months after the JP release. I should be placing an order soon once they are all available for order on Yesasia, which should comprise ARIA 10, Suzuka 15, Pastel 16 and Cross Game 7.
By the way, Tong Li will also release an ARIA booklet (水星領航員公式領航手冊) in June. Literal translation of the book is "ARIA official undine booklet". I have no idea if it's just a CH version of JP release or not. Nevertheless, I have asked Yesasia to source it as well.
