AMG Fighting Winds Information

There's some brief information on the coming AMG special TV series but they have been quite secretive about it. But thanks to Kotetsu, according to Afternoon magazine January edition, it'll cover the Rind arc. This arc includes Rind and her twin angels, angel-eating monster, Belldandy and Blue Lance. I have hoped that the second season would deliver the arc but they didn't. I'm glad that they decide to produce this arc for the 20th anniversary because it's one of the more interesting arc in the whole series.

The episodes will be aired on the 8th of December according to the magazine. Initially I thought the they only cover the Rind arc with twin angels and angel eater but from the promotional illustrations showed that Blue Lance in V25 Chapter 161 will be covered. Really hope they'll do a good job on this arc.

By the way, The AMG Tatakau Tsubasa (ああっ女神さまっ闘う翼) OP and ED has been released in JP even though official release date is tomorrow. The title of the single is 愛の星/ハナムケのメロディー. It comprises 5 tracks with 3 vocals and 2 instrumentals. The OP theme is 愛の星 (Star of Love) and the ED theme is ハナムケのメロディー (Farewell Melody). The artist for the single is Jyukai (樹海) who did the tracks for AMG Sorezore no Tsubasa ED2.

I have placed an order of the single at Play-asia.

Sorry for being away for so long, that's if you're still visiting the blog. :P I'm currently busy with assignment marking.

I have lost hope for my ARIA Solidwork collection, most likely MIA. I think I'll choose EMS next time for shipping my figures. My ARIA Alicia 1/8 figure and Suzuka guidebook have been shipped separately. Hope they will arrive safely.
Update: I really think it was divine intervention (secret). Just reached home and I received a post notice to collect a parcel. Is it the MIA parcel??? It's been 51 days .. could be... but I have another parcel sent 17 days ago. Could it be the second parcel from HLJ? The worst would be the replacement CD case from Yesasia, but that can be slipped into my mail box rather than require collection. Anyway, I'll find out tomorrow morning. Hope it's ARIA Solidwork collection!!!!!
Update2: It's not ARIA Solidwork collection. It's the 2nd order from HLJ, Alicia Florence 1/8 Goodsmile figure!!!!!!!! Am I suppose to be happy or sad???

Hatsukoi Limited 4: Kei nominated by her class as the cheerleader. Kusuda voluntered. In the end, the girls have to wear the male school uniform. I think I'm not going to write any thought or comment for this series. Boring, the only thing keeps me reading is the illustration.
Tsubasa 170: Cool, Syaoran against Seishiro next chapter!
Tennis 362: Fuji against Tezuka imitation, will the well-known Genius be able to beat "Tezuka". Match score 5-4(Fuji).
Cross Game 101: A new noodle house under construction beside Koh's house and a new girl who looked like Wakaba appeared.

Hatsukoi Limited 3: Uemura has aspired to be a mangaka and Yuu agreed to help him. However, he met a lot of competition in drawing Yuu's attention.
Tsubasa 169: Kurogane received a mechanical arm. Yui paid a price with his blue eye magic that possess magic power. Now it became gold.
Cross Game 100: No, he wasn't able to and they lost the game. Aoba asked Ichiyo how would Wakaba react if she was there.
Air Gear 180: Kururu and Tool Toul To members activated the Pledge Regalia. Something suspicious about Hako again.
Tennis 361: We get to know that Tezuka lost to Fuji when they played during childhood. Fuji is in lead over Niou imitation. Graham approached Setsuna.

Random Thoughts

Returned from my Malaysia trip. I'm working on a summary of Suzuka manga before the Suzuka aftermath post. ARIA Arietta summary post on hold. At the moment I have not pick up any anime from the new season.

ARIA 57: Akira was worried that Aika would be depressed because of Alice's achievement. But Aika actually got motivated and Akira was relieved.
Hatsukoi Limited 2: A bit disappointed in Kawashita new work. This week's about Mamoru Zaizu and his neighbour Misaki Yamamoto.
Tsubasa 168: Encounter of Watanuki and Syaoran in dream. We learnt from Syaoran that Syaoran and Watanuki are very closely related. In addition, Princess Tomoyo actually paid a price in advance as well.
Cross Game 99: Did Koh manage to catch the ball?


Anime:
Gundam 00 1: Yeah, new Gundam series. Gundam mecha look nice and characters look decent. Got a bit attracted by a female character, Wang Liu Mei. :P Anyway, Exia is cool when battling with the AEU MS.
Clannad 1: Not yet watch...
Kimikiss Pure Rouge 1: Like the first episode. The characters and the animation are good. Kouichi met his childhood onee-san, Mao who came back from France. His good friend, Kazuki got kissed by Eriko for giving back her paper plane? Recommended for those who enjoyed Tokimeki Memorial.

Purchase:
1. My Alicia 1/8 Goodsmile PVC is now on shipping list. Hope the ARIA solidworks collection will reach my doorstep soon.

2. My brother and I went to the new One Utama on Saturday and I came out with these.

I bought 4 DVD sets. These are original but produced/printed in Malaysia. The quality is good but there are no cover pages for the DVD case. In addition, they used minimal disc without negleting the quality. One thing I liked about asian versions is that they usually have both CH and EN subtitles. Total RM 629.90 or AUD $209.


A gift I bought for my girlfriend. It's a disney Mickey mouse nohohon figure or commonly known as Hidamari no Tami. HLJ had it in 2004. My brother and I each got one which cost RM45 each. A pity that there's no Minnie, otherwise both can be used to hold a deck of cards.

Random Thoughts

I'll be leaving for Malaysia tomorrow morning 12.55am but I have to arrive at the airport at around 10pm tonight. I do have internet connection back in Malaysia but since Suzuka has finished, it's not going to make much difference. There's a Suzuka aftermath post which I'm still compiling and also an ARIA Arietta summary post coming up.

I'm sure glad that Romeo & Juliet, Zero no Tsukaima and Moetan finished on the same week.

Air Gear 179: Kururu's activating her regalia and we see what had happened between Hako and Kururu. Hako's on Sora side and she wanted to hurt Kururu but the Tool Toul To intercepted.
Cross Game 98: Still 1-1... next chapter should be interesting.
Prince of Tennis 360: Fuji vs Masaharu Niou and was winning until the King of Swindlers created an illusion of Tezuka.
Tsubasa 167: The gang arrived in Nihon where Princess Tomoyo attended them. Kurogane got a punch from Yui. Syaoran met Watanuki in the dream.
Hatsukoi Limited 1: Mizuki Kawashita new work. Not too interesting... Arihara Ayumi received a love letter from a a huge guy Zaitsu Misao and she ended up in a fight between Zaitsu and his enemies.

Anime:
Romeo x Juliet 24: Finale, Romeo & Juliet died, one for the sake of love and one for the sake of Neo Verona.
Zero no Tsukaima II 12: Saito was on the verge of death but saved by an elf. Season ended with Louise giving Saito an explosion again.
Moetan 12: Nao and Ink both made it to the university

There will be a new series 初恋限定 (Hatsukoi Gentei) "Limited First Love" by Mizuki Kawashita, mangaka for Ichigo 100% next week

Suzuka 166: Final episodes of Suzuka! Yamato and Suzuka's daugther, Fuuka is so cute.
Air Gear 178: Kururu's back unharmed.
Cross Game 97: Koh reached his limits although he didn't show it.
Prince of Tennis 359: Inui and kaidou lost. Akaya entered demon stance and aimed at Inui. Inui collapsed. Looks like Seishun lost the 2nd match as well.

Anime:
Romeo x Juliet 23: Juliet taken away by Ophelia.
Zero no Tsukaima II 11: Siesta exposed, Louise cat cosplay and the rebellion of army because of the enemy magic spell/potion.
Moetan 11: Without magic, Ink cannot change to Pastel Ink but she cosplayed and continued with the tutoring.

. Just been informed by my friend that there's a new series 初恋限定 (Hatsukoi Gentei) "Limited First Love" by Mizuki Kawashita, mangaka for Ichigo 100%.

ARIA Arietta

ARIA OVA Arietta now has its own webpage. Though no other information except the release date. The OVA is scheduled to be released 21st September 2007.

There'll be a OVA commerative day (La festa di ARIA) on the 2nd of September.

Not much deviation from the Best 100 Characters survey for the top characters. Lelouch, Kira and Athrun dominate both survey. Lacus, Haruhi and Cagalli are the hot pick in both survey.

Note:
1. Lacus managed to beat Haruhi, Yeah!
2. Kyon didn't make it to Top 100 but he rose and placed 4th in the Grandprix.
3. C.C. popularity continue to rise.
4. Suzaku's rating also improved.
5. I knew Belldandy would be out of Top 20 since AMG Tsubasa failed miserably at 48th place.

Lelouch is the big winner!!! I'm happy that at least Belldandy, Saber and Akari made the Top 100.

Surprised that Kyon from Suzumiya Haruhi didnt made the Top 100 since manys blog ranked Kyon high before, but this survey showed different perspectives. Also surprised that Nagato and Mikuru from Suzumiya Haruhi ranked so low (48 & 52 respectively).

Tsubasa Chronicle better put more effort in season III considering fans still love the characters. Mai Hime or Mai Otome fair poorly with just Mai Tokiha from Mai Hime in Top 100.
