Final Fantasy Mini Collection 3

The Final Fnatasy Mini collection No. 3 arrived with my ARIA Best selection Piano book on the 6th January 2009. That's the day someone bumped into the car at my rear and that car bumped into me, so unlucky. The 3rd collection features Tidus, Rikku, Aerith, Balthier and Fran.


The heroes of Final Fantasy VII, VIII, X & VII with their weapon of choice, except for Vaan the slacker.


The heroines of Final Fantasy VII, VIII, X & VII.


Current collection from all 3 mini collections. The fourth box has not been revealed yet. We still got the following characters, though I think they'll concentrate on human characters.

Remaining characters:
* Sephiroth, Vincent, Barett, Red XIII, Cait Sith, Cid, Yuffie (FF7)
* Quitis, Selphie, Zell, Irvine, Laguna, Kiros, Ward, Seifer (FF8)
* Surprisingly no characters from FFIX
* Wakka, Lulu, Kimahri, Paine (FFX, FFX-2)

My prediction of the next 5 designs for Collection 4 is from Sephiroth or Vincent, Yuffie, Selphie, Wakka and Paine.

Final Fantasy Trading Arts Mini 2

Hurray, got my FFmini2 and Gundam fine markers today.

The collection comprises 9 mini figures of 5 characters; Squall, Auron, Tifa, Ashe and Basch. I got doubles except for Basch which is good and I gave them to my brother, lucky him. I would have to say Auron is my favourite in this collection given the sunglasses and his attire up to his neck.


Squall Leonhart, not bad but I would expect better gunblade quality and also more metalic to his accessories. .


Auron, my favourite in this series. The hand is detachable. It dropped and I thought it was broken but It wasn't. Phew! The brilliant red colour sure make it more outstanding.


How I wish the FFVII characters are in their FFVII Advent Children fashion. Tifa looks so much better in her AC attire. .


Ashe looks very nice in certain angle but in another angle her lip's a bit weird in a way.


Basch, my least favourite character in FFXII and also in this collection. Face just doesnt seem quite right????

Pleased with this series and looking forward to more FF Trading Arts Mini in near future.

By the way, the Gundam fine markers arrived at the same time, time to crack open my Extreme Blast Gundam Destiny and get it rolling!!!!!!!!!! (My brother nags at me constantly for not starting the assembly!)

Final Fantasy Trading Arts Mini

Came back at night and found my order, FF Trading Arts Mini, from HLJ has arrived. It took 19 days to reach my doorsteps.


One box comprises 9 mini figures and there are 5 characters; Cloud, Rinoa, Yuna (FFX2), Vaan and Penelo. I was lucky to get all the extras that I liked and gave them to my brother. I am very pleased with the figure. They are not expensive, got them for 3052 Yen (Early bird + SAL shipping) and the quality is very good. Though they smell of plastic....


Cloud Strife is definitely my favourite and best gashapon in this collection. It comes with his buster sword and his facial expression is excellent.


I was quite disappointed with Rinoa's facial expression. Yuna looks fairly good but her expression also looks bit weird


I think Vaan would be the second best figure. It has the playful mischievious expression. Penelo looks nice from the side but not from the front.

Anyway, I'm pleased with this collection and looking forward to FF Trading Arts Mini 2 in near future.

P/S: Meanwhile my Kotobukiya Belldandy Goddess figure with EMS shipping has reached Melbourne. Hope to receive it on Wednesday (special day ^^) if not tomorrow.

FF Mini Collection I

I believe there's more to come so I add a "I" to it. The collection comprises 5 mini figures of Vaan(FFXII), Cloud(FFVII), Penelo(FFXII), Rinoa(FFVIII) and Yuna(FFX-2). Each mini figure is 60mm. The collection is scheduled for October release with a price of 2651 Yen. Each box has 9 mini figures.

They looks absolutely fabulous and kawaii.. I have placed pre-order for them.

I would love to have this collection but I decided not to empty my wallet for them. It's tempting, I know.

Sephiroth's about 35cm while Cloud's 25cm. Yesasia listed 8 for shipping unit so I guess they are quite heavy and the shipping cost's not going to be merciful! They will be available in September.

Hobby Link list the figure at about US$211 each, Cloud and Sephiroth

Yesasia listed Cloud at US$320 [Early bird:$288] and Sephiroth at US$340 [Early bird:$306].

Hobby Search priced them at about US$ 210 each.

So anyone's thinking of spending at least US $500 for these????

Received my FFVI AC Region 4 DVD just now. The DVD has a collector tin which is exclusive to Ezydvd. The cover for the DVD wasn't as spectacular as the Japan edition but the tin was nice. The collector edition has sold out.

My brother and I bought the figures of Cloud and Sephiroth on Saturday from Empire Toys in Perth. My bro's Sephiroth cost AUD$45 while my Cloud cost $42. It was Comic Day so we had 5% discount. Unfortunately, a small screw was missing from my Cloud's leg and caused it to be loose. I was replaced with a new one but it's at my gf house now. I'll put up the pictures in the next few days. Meanwhile I post the pictures from Empire Toys
